‘The Basketball Court’ is the second piece commissioned exclusively for The Cool Hunter by Italian digital artist Enrico Capanni. It features a sheer fantasy enclosure with its dappled turquoise court surface contrasting with the aged burnt orange concrete walls. Bright daylight casts intense shadows over this fanciful scene of carefully assembled colours and proportions, and in the distance, dramatic forested mountains punctuate the skyline, combining to create a sense of inviting tropical warmth. Capanni uses the simplicity of form and a restricted palette of colours to produce an almost abstract composition of pure imagination.
